At a time when the UK and Europe is shocked by the scandal of beef burgers and lasagne containing horsemeat instead of the advertised beef, I was amused to find by accident this article by George W. Peck in his Sunbeams about his Wisconsin newspaper's shocking discovery of horsemeat sausages in the USA in 1899.  It made me chuckle, I hope listeners also find it amusing.
Topics: horsemeat, food, scandal, conspiracy
